I still think the answer is to upgrade the video card and maybe Windows 10 to 64 bit if the mobo can take it. And it may be worse with anyone running 32bit,īecause we can't run Windows 10 in 64 bit due, I believe to the video cards.

If the latest update for such old video cards is from 2016 and so many people are having a problem, I think that means it's the Windows 10 v 2004 update that just doesn't work with old video cards. The updated Nvidia might help, but I sort I will update, but I will not try to update Windows 10 version 2004 32bit again, anytime soon. There is an Nvidia update version 342.01 released. My current card used GeForce 210 version is 341.74. Wow, this is how often, I bother to update my video! I replaced this card with a 2011 video card. My 2004 update crash, mentioned in a forum post above was with a different video card from 2009. With the version 2004 update in Windows Update, so essentially everyone with old Nvidia cards will be hit with this blue screen error. On top of this, there is no alert warning I would assume QA does not test with old video cards. The fix only came out several weeks later.

Some of us, who do not play games, don't need a new video card every 6 months. It seems that the only safe way to use update version 2004 would be to purchase a new video card. There were very limited tips with the bug fix. Perhaps I was not using the correct command line application.
